Transaction Safety is our priority.
FiltersUSA uses a secure server for transaction processing provided by GeoTrust. Click here if you prefer to fax or mail in your order.
Online shopping safety tip: When you proceeed to check out of a ecommerce site, be sure you are on the same website of the company and not moved to another website that you know nothing about. You can check by looking at the address bar window in your browser. ALWAYS be sure that you see the closed lock on your browser when you're giving your credit card information. On Netscape it will be a solid key. You can also click on the lock to view and install the secure certificate.
In order to protect our customers against fraudulent use of your credit card we ask for your Credit Card Security Code.
A CSC is a special security code feature on your American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa credit card. CSC's are not raised, so they are not scanned into standard credit card readers. In theory, these numbers are only visible to you. When you give your CSC to a merchant, you assist the merchant in verifying that the order is being placed by you, the card holder.
FiltersUSA requires you to enter your CSC whenever you place an order online to help us detect fraudulent use of your card before your account is charged. This simple step allows us to greatly enhance the safety and security of our ordering process. You may receive a call from our sales staff to verify your order if your CSC is missing or invalid.
- Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Credit Card Users: Flip your card over and look at the signature box. You should see a credit card number followed by a special 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is your Card Security Code.
- American Express Credit Card Users: Look for the 4-digit code printed on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main credit card number. This 4-digit code is your Card Security Code.
Your Privacy
Protecting Your E-mail Address
Upon the successfull completion of your order, a copy of your order is
sent to your e-mail address. You will need a copy of your order if for some reason you need to return the product. We will also notify you by e-mail when your order has been shipped. Please note that some Spam filtering software may prevent you from receiving these legitimate notifications. You should check with your ISP regarding mail filtering and allow mail from shipping@filtersusa.com if you want to receive such notifications. FiltersUSA will NEVER sell your personal information. Check our privacy policy for more information.
FiltersUSA will never email you asking you to update your customer information. Beware of phishing schemes to protect yorself against identity theft. However, using e-mail addresses provided at the online order entry or Reminder Service, FiltersUSA.com periodically sends out reminder e-mail and promotional e-mail to our users announcing special product offerings. Customers can opt-out of future emails here.
Beware of Viruses
FiltersUSA does not use any file attachments when sending order confirmations. If you receive an email from FiltersUSA.com with an attachment, it did not come from FiltersUSA and is most likely a virus. As common practices you should be sure that you have current virus protection software installed on your computer. FiltersUSA uses enhanced virus protection on all our systems, unfortunately viruses can assume anyone's identity, even yours, so it is very important that you use virus protection software and encourage others to do the same. It is cheap insurance against the devastating effects of a virus infection.
